Southeast Art Team, the organization of artists out of southeast San Diego and other local surrounding neighborhoods in San Diego county (circa 2018 by way of HipHop5K ). Led by artist trio, Vee Brooks , Kim Phillips-Pea and Raquel Rhone.

Southeast Art Team advocates for amateur and beginning artists in the community because of art’s power to express injustice and cleanse the soul. Too many youths in the community face sexual violence and abuse. Art and volunteering in art ventures rebuilds confidence and saves lives. Without the outlet of creative expression any are mental bondage. It helps redirect focus.
