Artist Raquel Rhone

Artist and Graphic Designer Raquel Rhone (32 years old) was born and raised in
San Diego, California. She graduated from San Diego State University in 2013 with
a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. Currently, she freelances as a Mural Artist
and Graphic Designer, and also does commission artwork. Raquel is apart of a team of artists called the Southeast San Diego Art Team, a group of local artists who collaborate on community beautification projects and art related events. The Southeast Art Team has an Art Gallery on 6 Hensley St. called the Oya Art Gallery & Boutique where her worked can be viewed and purchased. So far in her career, she has worked on art projects commissioned by San Diego Gas & Electric, Blue Shield California, Downtown San Diego Partnership, Paving Great Futures, Somali Family Services of San Diego, Black San Diego & more.
